Job Description / Role
We are looking for an experienced and a passionate officer to work for Administration Section, Embassy of Japan in the United Arab Emirates.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records, including invoices, contracts, and other important documentation.
- Ensure that all confidential information is securely stored and handled in compliance with government policies and legal requirements.
- Support cross-departmental administrative needs, including assisting the finance team with expense reporting and budget tracking.
- Coordinate maintenance and repairs of office equipment and facilities with a senior specialist.
- Assist in resolving employee issues in a timely and professional manner.
- Conduct regular stock checks and condition monitoring to maintain inventory accuracy and integrity.
Requirements
- Previous relevant working experience in Japanese Company, government or equivalent preferable
- Preferable Japanese language skill N1-N5 holder
- A minimum of 3 years’ experience in working in a similar position
- Bachelor's degree holder
- Basic computer skill
- Strong attention to detail, highly responsible, organised and reliable
- Excellent negotiation and communication skills, with the ability to build and maintain positive relationships both internally and externally
- Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a dynamic work environment
