Job Opening: Recruiting Officer/Specialist for Administration Section

Job Description / Role

We are looking for an experienced and a passionate officer to work for Administration Section, Embassy of Japan in the United Arab Emirates.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records, including invoices, contracts, and other important documentation.
  • Ensure that all confidential information is securely stored and handled in compliance with government policies and legal requirements.
  • Support cross-departmental administrative needs, including assisting the finance team with expense reporting and budget tracking.
  • Coordinate maintenance and repairs of office equipment and facilities with a senior specialist.
  • Assist in resolving employee issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Conduct regular stock checks and condition monitoring to maintain inventory accuracy and integrity.

Requirements

  • Previous relevant working experience  in Japanese Company, government or equivalent preferable
  • Preferable Japanese language skill N1-N5 holder
  • A minimum of 3 years’ experience in working in a similar position
  • Bachelor's degree holder
  • Basic computer skill
  • Strong attention to detail, highly responsible, organised and reliable
  • Excellent negotiation and communication skills, with the ability to build and maintain positive relationships both internally and externally
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a dynamic work environment
Starting time of work: End of October / November, 2024 (Expected date)
