Japan Day Event at Zayed University was held

The Embassy of Japan in the UAE and Japan Club of Zayed University co-organized a Japan Day Event on March 6, 2024. The event brought the richness of Japanese traditions, pop-culture, language and food etc. to the university campus. The highlights of ths event included the Japanese tea demonstration by Urasenke Tankokai Abu Dhabi Association, a lecture on Japanese sweets and free tasting of “Daifuku” (Japanese sweet rice cake with red beans) by Ocha Café Sakura at Galleria Mall, Japanese traditional dance performance, mini-Japanese language lessons by Japan International Cooperation Center (JICE) and a booth for the scholarship opportunity offered by INPEX Scholarship Foundation. Ambassador Isomata and his wife attended the event and encouraged the members of Japan Club.
