Self-Defence Forces Day Reception

On 13 November, Ambassador Ken OKANIWA hosted a reception to commemorate the 70th anniversary of the Japan Self-Defense Forces in Abu Dhabi. H.E. Mohamed bin Mubarak Fadel Al Mazrouei, Minister of State for Defense Affairs, graced the occasion with the Guest of Honor. It was attended by many others, including senior officials of the UAE Ministry of Defence and Armed Forces, ambassadors, and military representatives of various countries.
In his remarks, Ambassador OKANIWA spoke of the deepening defense ties between Japan and the UAE. Defense cooperation between Japan and the UAE continues to grow, shaped by the strong leadership of both our countries. The UAE is one of Japan’s most important partners in the region, sharing a commitment to peace and security that strengthens both our nations.
