Certificate of Commendation by Ambassador to Mr. Naser Al-Tamimi, General Secretary of UAE Wrestling and Judo Federation

On 5 November, Mr. Naser Al-Tamimi, General Secretary of UAE Wrestling and Judo Federation was presented with a Certificate of Commendation by Ambassador Akihiko Nakajima.
The ceremony was held at the 5th Judo Japanese Ambassador’s Cup with the attendance of officers from UAE Wrestling and Judo Federation, judo coaches, referees and young judo players.
Mr. Tamimi said: “This award is not only for me rather for the Federation, for its role in promoting judo and deepening relations between Japan and the UAE. The Federation enjoys strong relations with Japanese organizations. I would like to thank them all for their continuous cooperation.”
Mr. Tamimi has contributed to the promotion and development of judo in the UAE for twenty years since appointed as General Secretary of UAE Wrestling and Judo Federation. He also made significant contributions in judo exchanges between Japan and the UAE as well as implementation of Abu Dhabi Judo Grand Slam.
