On 21 November 2016, Ambassador and Mrs. Fujiki hosted the National Day Reception of Japan at InterContinental Abu Dhabi to celebrate the birthday of His Majesty the Emperor of Japan. H.E. Hussain bin Ibrahim Al Hammadi, Minister of Education attended the reception as the guest of honour. Judo Performance by Judo coach and students from UAE Wrestling, Judo, and Kick-boxing Federation was shown during the reception.
