Decoration of H.E. Abdulla Nasser Al Suwaidi
On 29 April 2018, the Government of Japan announced the conferment of decoration, the Order of the Rising Sun, Gold Rays with Neck Ribbon by the Emperor of Japan on H.E. Abdulla Nasser Al Suwaidi, Chairman of Federal Authority for Nuclear Regulation and former Chief Executive Officer of Abu Dhabi National Oil Company, in recognition of his meritorious contributions in ensuring steady supply of energy and fostering relations between Japan and the United Arab Emirates.
On 23 July 2018, Ambassador Fujiki organized in Abu Dhabi award ceremony of the decoration in honor of H.E. Al Suwaidi.
