On 18 February, Charge d'Affaires Suzuki attended UAE-Japan Space Exploration Workshop held at the University of Sharjah, and gave an opening speech. The workshop was co-organized by the consortium of Japanese academia and industry, UAE Space Agency, and the University of Sharjah to give a series of lectures on the space exploration and Mars science by Japanese experts.
