Android Opera “MIRROR” by SHIBUYA Keiichiro is performed for the first stage in the world at Dubai Expo

A composer and musician, SHIBUYA Keiichiro, will perform Android Opera "MIRROR" an international and cross-cultural collaboration between the Humanoid Robot, Buddhist chants in Japan and NSO Symphony Orchestra (UAE) for the first stage at Dubai Expo 2020 on 2nd of March.
In the center of the stage, the android Alter3 improvises and sings a text created by AI. It is surrounded by four monks singing Buddhist chants with a history of 1200 years, piano and computer. Furthermore, a local orchestra from the UAE surrounds them in a circle to create a unified musical piece.
This stage was originally planned to perform on “Japan Day”of Dubai Expo (11th of December, 2021), however, postponed due to the precaution measures for COVID-19.
